The mission of Chapleau Resources Ltd. is to maximize shareholder value by acquiring and exploring for world-class gold and copper projects. Chapleau's current focus is on several highly prospective projects in Brazil and Peru.

 

Chapleau's geological team has identified, assessed and acquired several significant gold exploration projects in Brazil. The projects total approximately 77,000 hectares and are located in the highly prospective Tapajos-Alta Floresta Gold District. Drilling of 8,785 m was completed on the Coringa and Mato Velho projects with a third phase drill program of 7,000 m currently in progress on Coringa.

 

Exploration in Peru is focused on the highly prospective porphyry copper belts with the La Yegua porphyry copper-gold project currently under evaluation. Further copper projects are under due diligence.
